Hi, I am Sumeeth Singh - Professional and ticketed engineer, proud father of two and a devoted husband.
After qualifying with a BSc in Mechanical engineering, I have accumulated a wealth of experience in Pulp and Paper, Cement and the chemical industry.
I acquired my experience in blue chip companies, which has made me accustomed to the highest international standards in industry.
However, it has also highlighted the lack of technical competency, limited responsibility and accountability, and a major major lack of drive in organisations.
My vision and passion is to create a team that transforms operations to new levels - which led to the creation of Strategix Engineering.
I have hand-picked a team, who will extract the highest potential of your operation. We use a very simple model that is based on discipline, responsibility and technical competency. It’s somewhat old school but packaged in a constructive and purposeful way operating on standards, procedures and processes…its a recipe that brings results.

Pr. Eng, PMP, GCC.
Sumeeth is a dynamic individual who leads his carefully sourced team with discipline, training, and commitment. He strives to achieve technical excellence, while acknowledging the beauty of authenticity, resulting in successful communication and an inspired team. Sumeeth has extensive experience in Pulp and Paper, the cement industry, and chemical industry occupying positions of Mechanical Manager, Project Manager, Maintenance Manager and Engineering Manager.
Prathisha Singh
Prathisha’s scientific background and experience in Environmental Consulting allows her to understand and guide technical professionals to achieve balance, foresight and an emotional edge in their decision- making, strategy development and personal lives; helping to grow any organisation to its greatest potential.
Having completed courses from the world’s leading experts in the self development industry and mentored by Marci Shimoff (the author of NY times best-selling books The Chicken Soup for the Women’s Soul), Prathisha’s coaching allows for decisions and solutions to come from a space of clarity and inspiration! She is a published author, presents on Ballito TV, Radio Life and Style, Durban Youth Radio and has been featured in Get It magazine.
Harry Kandhai
Professional Certified Engineer (Electrical)
Harry Kandai has more than 25 years of experience at various Sappi plants occupying positions including, but not limited to: Automation Engineer, Senior Electrical Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, and Engineering Manager.
Harry’s wealth of experience in the Paper and Pulp industry has awarded him a thorough understanding of the industry’s culture, operational priorities, constraints and demands. He works well under pressure, and drives teams effectively demonstrating his extensive knowledge. His experience in the industry commands respect and he is able to identify strengths and weaknesses of his team members easily, which allows him to maximise any workforce.
His technical ability coupled with brilliant management skills makes him an asset to any operation. Occupying positions at many levels in the organisation allows Harry to understand the people, their driving force and the machines at an intimate level.
Ramone Rooplal
BSc Mechanical Engineer
Ramone has thorough engineering experience occupying positions of Mechanical Design Engineer, Production Manager and Project Engineer. He is able to pool resources and manage teams effectively and with ease. Ramone’s technical ability, thirst for knowledge and ambitious nature coupled with excellent communication skills allow him to motivate teams and deliver quality execution within designated timeframes. His persistence, diligence and understanding of maintenance systems allow him to work well with OEMs.
Oliver Dolby-Glover
Level 3 NVQ Extended Diploma Aeronautical Engineering (UK, through The Royal Airforce)
Oliver’s unique experience (since 2014) in the Royal airforce maintaining, servicing and repairing aircrafts has provided him with commendable technical expertise, discipline and the ability to make informed decisions under immense pressure. His commanding soldier presence allows him to manage teams with ease.
His invaluable experience in the airforce has equipped him with a resourceful nature, meticulous planning skills and is able to deliver quality execution - of a royal standard.
